On the Wednesday, January 23, episode of American Idol, the former show judges got into a curse word-filled squabble. Minaj criticized Carey for being too harsh on a contestant which the "Vision of Love" singer responded by saying, “I’m sorry, it’s just that that’s what I do, Nicki."

The "Anaconda" rapper immediately fired back. “Oh, you’re right. I’m sorry I can’t help her," she said, tossing her seat behind her. "Maybe I should just get off the f**king panel!
