As winter approaches and many people turn to darker hues and warmer clothes, Blake Lively is keeping hot Barbie pink alive and well.
She revived the summer hue in the brightest pink minidress, but it wasn’t the only thing she revitalized Friday night. Lively, alongside former costars Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn, showed just how deep their sisterhood runs by showing up to a Barbie event in support of America Ferrara.
The four actors, who played best friends in the adored film series The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, gave us 2005 flashbacks as they posed arm-in-arm and smiled big for photos at a SAG-AFTRA-hosted Barbie screening and Q&A in New York City.
Ferrara took to Instagram to share a hug- and laugh-filled video of their sweet reunion.
The Age of Adaline actor looked like a princess in a sleeveless fuschia minidress, which featured a fitted bodice and a fuzzy feather skirt that hit her mid thigh. Keeping things monochromatic, Lively paired the fabulous frock with matching pointed-toe mules that featured a crisscross detail along the front and opera gloves. She accented her look with equally luxe jewelry in the form of large emerald drop earrings and several jewel statement rings, which she wore over her luxurious hand coverings. As for glam, Lively glowed with glossy lips in the same vibrant shade as her dress and a rosy blush. She rounded the look off by wearing her blonde locks in bouncy curls.
Bledel and Tamblyn put their own spin on Barbiecore. The Gilmore Girls alum looked sophisticated in a deep pink pencil skirt, black peplum blazer, black open-toe pumps, and a matching clutch. The Any Man author opted for a soft baby pink suit layered over a white button up shirt and paired with glittery silver platform pumps.
The Barbie star contrasted her supportive friends in a white long-sleeve dress that featured crossing drapery details. She paired the chic piece with sheer black tights and matching pointed-toe stilettos.
