Sounds like trouble. The arrest report for Pawn Stars‘ Chumlee Russell has been released and it reveals some surprising details about just what police found at the reality star’s Las Vegas home.
Chumlee (real name: Austin Lee) was arrested on Wednesday, March 9, on one felony weapons and multiple drug charges after police went to his home to investigate an alleged sexual assault. He was later released on $62,000 bail.
While no assault charges have been filed, the report states that the amount of drugs and drug-related paraphernalia found in Russell’s home suggest to police that the 33-year-old might be a drug dealer. It also reveals that Russell told cops he smokes “a lot of weed.”
The report notes that many of the items, such as plastic baggies and digital scales, “are commonly found with persons who package and sell controlled substances.”
Police served a search warrant on Russell on March 9 and found marijuana, methamphetamine, drug pipes, ammunition and 12 guns, including revolvers, rifles and shotguns. Four of the guns were registered to Russell.
The police report also details the fact that the reality star has a “‘Chum Chum Room’ with Dance Pole,” where they seized a “clear plastic baggie with white residue” and a dollar bill “rolled up with white powdery residue.”
Russell’s defense attorney David Chesnoff told the Associated Press on Thursday, March 10, that he is “looking forward to the truthful conclusion” of the case.
